Markus Seewald is a freelance photo editor, coach and lecturer. For nearly 15 years, he worked in the picture editing office of GEO Magazine; during this time, he was a correspondent for the GEO Group in New York for just under a year. He was a European-wide representative for an Italian photo agency. For the past six years, he has regularly taught at postsecondary institutions in the subject area of photojournalism. Moreover, he is a coach for photographers. His international clients include Quest, Holland Herald (KLM), GEO, Die Bildbeschaffer (Hapag-Lloyd, Siemens) and the Körber Foundation. Seewald lives in Amsterdam and works worldwide.
