In five short interviews, Thekla Ehling, Paul Spehr and Frederic Lezmi present extremely interesting photobook projects created by the following students from Hanover:

Helena Manhartsberger with “Eat, Sleep, School, Fight”
Jan Richard Heinke with “Cornutopia”
Chantal Seitz with “Boubou Business”
Patrick Juncker with “Warten auf ein Herz”
Daniel Niedermeier with “Als ich noch fliegen konnte”

All the dummies to be presented were produced from 2018 to 2019 in the photobook class offered at Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts. This course is at the interface of documentary photography, visual storytelling and book design; for photography students in Hanover in particular, it provides vital momentum to the development of their own work. The conversations with these photographers will analyse each respective dummy, go over the creation process and explore important ideas in conceptualisation, design and implementation.

All Talks are free of charge. But you can make a donation for the festival. Any sum is welcome. Please donate.
