f³ – freiraum für fotografie presents on 200 sqm near Oranienplatz in Berlin-Kreuzberg five to six exhibitions of international author’s photography per year, among them internationally renowned positions as well as the works of young authors. In addition, regular talks with photographers, discussion events and workshops take place. f³ – freiraum für fotografie sets important thematic and aesthetic accents in today’s confusing flood of images and media and intervenes in the public debate on social issues.

f³ is an initiative by Society for Humanistic Photography (Gesellschaft für Humanistische Fotografie – GfHF). The non-for-profit organization promotes engaged auteur photography that focuses on socially relevant issues since its foundation in 2006.
