Katharina Mouratidi
artistic director of f3 - freiraum für fotografie

Katharina Mouratidi is the artistic director of f3 – freiraum für fotografie. Near Oranienplatz in Berlin-Kreuzberg, f3 – freiraum für fotografie hosts five to six exhibitions of international documentary photography every year. Interviews with photographers regularly accompany these exhibitions, along with discussion events and workshops. In her function as director Mouratidi plans, curates and realises photography exhibitions and projects devoted to social and political questions at f3 – freiraum für fotografie and in cooperation with renowned art and cultural institutions both in Germany and abroad, including: WARonWALL, an outdoor exhibition by Kai Wiedenhöfer (Berlin Wall, 2016); A Life in Death by American photographer Nancy Borowick (f3, 2017); NOOR by NOOR – on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of that well-known agency (f3, 2018); The Heavens by Paolo Woods and Gabriele Galimberti (f3, 2018); Where Love is Illegal by Robin Hammond (f3, 2018) and the Greenpeace Photo Award, featuring works by Pablo E. Piovano and Ian Willms (f3, 2019).
